IslamicFamily is inviting businesses, artists, and generous donors to contribute to the silent auction at A Gathering for Edmonton: Impact That Stays Close to Home.

By donating a product, service, or artwork, you’ll be helping to support programs that provide vital resources to families and individuals in Edmonton. Auction proceeds will allow attendees to choose whether their contributions go toward zakat-eligible or unrestricted community initiatives, ensuring meaningful local impact.

All donated items must be new, unused, and in good condition.

IslamicFamily reserves the right to decline items that may not align with the purpose or values of the event.

Donated items will be auctioned at A Gathering for Edmonton: Impact That Stays Close to Home to raise funds for local community programs.

The winning bidder may choose whether their payment supports zakat-eligible or unrestricted initiatives, as per IslamicFamily’s giving structure.

If an item does not sell during the auction, IslamicFamily may (a) retain the item for future fundraising opportunities, (b) offer it in another fundraising event, or (c) return the item to the donor if requested in advance.

IslamicFamily can issue tax receipts for donated items in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) guidelines.

Donors must provide proof of fair market value (e.g., receipt, appraisal, or comparable sale prices) for a tax receipt to be issued.

Artwork and other subjective-value items may require a third-party appraisal to determine an eligible receiptable amount.

While we will make efforts to recognize donors publicly, specific promotional benefits cannot be guaranteed.
